STAT Emergency Medical Training in Dartmouth, MA, is the training division of STAT Dartmouth and Southcoast EMS. At our facility, we offer training programs for EMTs and also offer continuing education for emergency medical providers and healthcare professionals.
A team of industry-experienced trainers will impart their knowledge to students. They have years of experience under their belts. What they do and what they know have saved many lives and their goal is to teach other individuals the techniques that will help them become EMTs or medical professionals in their future careers.
Apart from the actual training, we also offer internships which provide for a supervised setting so students can apply what they learned.

Antonino has been in emergency services since 2005. In 2007, he became a Paramedic and has worked for STAT Dartmouth since.He is a Lieutenant on the New BedfordFire Department and is currently completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science.
Antonino is the Director of STAT Emergency Medical Training and the Training Coordinator for STAT/Southcoast EMS.He has a passion for EMS and the Fire Service and enjoys teaching people who are new to the profession. He is always striving to be at the forefront of change within the field and hopes to be a part of progress as an EMS Instructor throughout his career.
Laura Frigault, MA EMT-Paramedic, MA Instructor/Coordinator, AHA CPR/ACLS/PALS Instructor
Laura has been working in EMS since 2009. Laura began her career as an EMT-Basic and has worked her way up to becoming a paramedic. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and decided to pursue her love for the medical field. She currently works as a Paramedic for the Fall River Fire Dept., as well as STAT Dartmouth, both EMS services providing 911 care.
Laura has been teaching with STAT Emergency Medical Services since 2013. She is a certified CPR, ACLS, and PALS instructor, and a Massachusetts Instructor/Coordinator. She enjoys sharing her passion for emergency medical services with others, loves to see new students and prospective colleagues excited about EMS. Her hope is to demonstrate the benefits of helping others to these students and colleagues on a daily basis.
Carlton J. Dort, IV, MA-Paramedic, MA Instructor/Coordinator, AHA CPR/PALS Instructor, Professional Firefighter
Carl has been working in emergency medical systems for more than 16 years. He is a firefighter/paramedic with Somerset Fire Department and has experience training EMTs, both in a clinical and classroom setting.
Frank O’Reagan, Operations Manager Stat Ambulance (Dartmouth EMS) and Southcoast EMS, NREMT-Paramedic, MA Instructor/Coordinator, AHA CPR, Instructor, Professional Firefighter
Frank has been working in EMS for more than 24 years. He holds the position of Captain on the Fall River Fire Department where he has been employed since 1993, he has also been an emergency paramedic with STAT Dartmouth since 1995. He has been involved in the training of both EMS and fire personnel, including instructor for the Massachusetts Fire Academy and an Instructor/Coordinator (IC) certified by Massachusetts OEMS. He is a Nationally Registered Paramedic with current licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Serving as the 911 provider for the town of Dartmouth since 1980, STAT Dartmouth has transported over 55,000 patients.
Southcoast Emergency Medical Services provides basic life support and advanced life support services to area hospitals, colleges, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private patients. They operate throughout southeastern Massachusetts and provide services to any region of New England. Based out of the corporate headquarters in Dartmouth, ambulances also operate out of sub-bases in New Bedford, Fall River, Canton and Newport RI.
Coastline EMS is based in East Providence, RI, and provides ambulance services and wheelchair transport, including emergent and non-emergent transportation, and inter-facility transfers. Coastline services also operate in Warwick RI.
